thankfully, the good people at PRANA (an eco-friendly canadian company btw.) had foresight into this likelihood actuality and sent me their new triple threat superfood, ProativCHIA.  

combining the virtues of omega-3, vitamins & minerals, with immune enhancing probiotics, it's the traditional goodness of chia seeds with probiotics.

obviously, as in past posts, you know of my profound love of chia pudding, so today i'm showcasing that in a breakfast bowl style alongside a smoothie.

ProactivChia Breakfast Bowl


ProactiveCHIA pudding
1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 teaspoon ground vanilla
1 tablespoon maple syrup
4 tablespoons ProactivCHIA

1 banana
1 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 medjool date, pitted
1 tablespoon cacao powder

ProactivCHIA seeds, maca powder, goji berreis, almonds,  and banana slices for serving

prepare your chia pudding the evening before, by combining all the ingredients for the pudding in a mason jar.  shake vigorously.  every 10-15 minutes shake the jar to make sure the seeds don't stick to the bottom.
in the morning, blend all the smoothie ingredients until smooth.  pour the ProactivCHIA pudding on one side of the bowl, then pour the smoothie mixture on the other side.  garnish with ProactivCHIA, maca powder, goji berries, almonds, and banana slices.
