Thanksgiving in Banff | The Park Distillery

thanksgiving dinner on sunday, means we got to spend monday in the mountains, my favourite place ever.
favourite place, favourite holiday, favourite people.  
it was a good day.

a hike and lunch and forever thankful.

after we hike, we nourish ourselves.

we decided to try out a new restaurant, Park Distillery.
vodka distilled in the purest place on the planet, with water originating at six glaciers high in the rocky mountains.
hand-milled, hand-mashed and hand-distilled to preserve the purity of the ingredients.
their menu can be described as campfire inspired cooking.  wood-fired.  spit-roasted. smoky-savoury. infused and marinated using spirits distilled in house.

pasta carbonara |  bacon n' eggs pasta on bucatini


park burger  |  kitchen pickles, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, mess sauce, brioche.  served with fries


 tinfoil trout |  grilled lemon, arugula, olive oil, sea salt.  served with french onion soup and grilled carrots and beans
