Perfectly Grilled Corn on the Cob
it's a pretty safe assumption that summer just isn't summer without fresh taber corn.
i'm a purest when it comes to these ears of deliciousness, just butter.
so tonight, following a wonderful day spent in the great outdoors, mr handsome & i are firing up the grill, putting some fresh & gifted corn on (thanks JF) and having ourselves a BBQ to round out the weekend.
Grilled Corn on the Cob
ingredients:
4 ears of corn
kosher salt
butter for serving
method:
heat grill to medium.
pull the outer husks of corn down to the base. strip away the silk from each ear by hand. fold husks back into place, and place the ears of corn in a large bowl of cold water with 1 tablespoon of salt for 10 minutes.
remove corn from water and shake off excess. place on grill. close the cover and grill for 15 - 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, or until kernels are tender. remove the husks and enjoy.
