Froyo Love: Tutti Frutti

Since returning from Hawaii just over a week ago, I seem to be going through frozen yogurt withdrawal symptoms; shakes, cold sweats, the works.  Yogurtland was a frequent daily stop while on the island, each time trying a different flavour, and piling on as many toppings as I could fit in the bowl.

YYC must have secretly known that I was going through the froyo-shakes, because this past weekend Tutti Frutti opened up @ 858 16th Ave SW.   AND, because I didn't make it out on Saturday, today was the perfect afternoon to try it out, sun shinning and all.  Impromptu yogurt date courtesy of my husband was a success.  And success it was, we quickly discovered that this froyo shop is just as delicious as it's Yogurtland counterpart.  Winning!
And people say Monday's are no fun.  Clearly they just need a good froyo date to make everything right.

• TF Tart
• Death By Chocolate
• Green Tea

And then there is the endless array of toppings you can pile on:

• Gummy Worms
• Brownies
• Chocolate Chip Cookies
• Mochi
• Pineapple
• Strawberries
• Fruit Loops
• Coconut

And the list goes on and on.....

Oh how I love self-serve/the ability to lose control and just go toppings crazy.  YUM!


With endless flavour combinations to choose from you can bet I'll be going back again and again.  Plus, the best news is a 2nd store is slated to open in our city and that one is only a 2 minute drive from my house.  This might prove to turn out like Hawaii after all and require daily visits.

Thanks for filling the froyo void in my life Tutti Frutti.  I think the two of us just formed a beautiful friendship.
