Simple Bean Salad

Summer and salad pretty much go hand in hand.


I love bean salads.  Protein - check.  Fibre - check.  Tasty - double check.
This one is sure to please omnivores and carnivores alike.  Happy Summer!









White Bean Salad w/ Tomato & Basil



Ingredients:

1 - 19oz can no-salt added white beans, drained & rinsed
1 1/2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
2 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped fine
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
sea salt & pepper


Method:

In medium sized bowl.  Combine beans all ingredients above.  Toss well.
Allow to sit for 30 - 60 minutes before serving.


Serves: 4
