no bake M&M energy bites



the kids have asked that just like last year we bring back cooking lessons one day each week of summer vacation.
simple things, kitchen staples, and kid friendly of course.

this week we decided on no bake energy bites, made extra special with the addition of mini M&Ms.  this easy recipe is 5 ingredients, pantry staples, and comes together in a snap!

no bake M&M energy bites

ingredients:
2 1/2 cups oats
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla 
2/3 cup mini M&Ms

method:
in large bowl stir together peanut butter, honey and vanilla until well combined.  Add in oats and mix well.  fold in m&ms.  roll into bite sized balls and place on baking sheet.
allow to firm up in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.  enjoy.
store in a sealed container in the fridge.
