Peanut Butter Cup Caramel Corn

saturday night family movie night, minus mr. handsome, who is currently on a boys golf weekend having zero fun i'm certain.

so while the cat's away, the mouse (or mice) will play, or at least indulge is some incredibly delicious popcorn.

popcorn with peanut butter.

best movie snack ever.

who wants to golf, when you could eat this, in sweat pants, in front of the tv.

peanut butter cup caramel corn

ingredients:
8 cups unflavoured popcorn
1/2 cup golden corn syrup
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup mini reese peanut butter cups

method:
in small saucepan bring sugar and syrup to a boil.  stir in peanut butter until melted and dissolved.  remove from heat a stir in vanilla.
pour over popcorn and stir to coat.  turn out onto parchment paper to allow to cool. 
add reese peanut butter cups and enjoy.
