creative uses for chocolate easter bunnies

it happens every easter without fail.
our cupboards become overrun with chocolate.
chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, chocolate chicks, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate....

and because one can only eat so many bunny ears straight up, before turning into a chocolate bunny themselves, i've put together a list of other creative ways to consumee that solid 1-pound rabbit.

cheers.xo.

chocolate dipped cones |  dip top of waffle cones into melted chocolate & roll in your favourite toppings.  sprinkles, nuts, coconut, etc.

hot chocolate |  mix in finely chopped chocolate to hot milk and stir.

cookie mix ins |  use chopped up chocolate in place of chocolate chips in your favourite baking recipes.

chocolate shavings |  using a vegetable peeler shave chocolate for toppings to ice cream or hot beverages.

chocolate fondue |  mix roughly chopped chocolate with heavy cream in saucepan.  heat on low and stir until melted & smooth.  serve with fresh fruit, marshmallows, or rice krispie squares.
