Homemade Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix

Every Christmas the kids and I set out to make as many personal/homemade gifts as possible.

In years past this included ornaments, cookies and popcorn.

This year we went the pickled onions and pancake mix route.

packaged up cute & ready to deliver.

Pancakes for Everyone. 

Homemade Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

3 Tbsp sugar

2 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt 

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method:

In mason jars or other glass container,  whisk together all ingredients except chocolate chips.  Layer flour mixture into jar and top with chocolate chips.

Attached label with the instructions below, or simply write them on a piece of paper.  Tie a ribbon and you are all set.  

Doesn't get much easier than that.
