oven baked hard boiled eggs

i'm on somewhat of a hard-boiled egg expedition as of late.
i enjoy them straight up as a snack, sliced into salads and sandwiches, pretty much however i can fit them in my mouth.

sidenote:  how cute is my new hand printed ceramic egg holder from mexico. #inlove

back to the eggs...
today i have a hard-boiled egg game changer for you.
no water involved. instead only a muffin tin & oven are all you require for an easy fail proof hard-boiled egg method.

oven baked hard-boiled eggs

method:
preheat oven to 325F.
place a whole (unopened) egg in each individual cup of a 12 cup muffin tin.  bake for 30 minutes, then remove and immediately submerge into an ice water bath.
peel eggs as soon as they are cool enough to handle, then return them to the ice bath the thoroughly chill.

    1. they're a little different, i prefer the texture of the original method, but this is great if you need to make a lot at once to feed a crowd. cheers!
