Zucchini Bread French Toast
earlier this week i made a classic zucchini loaf. this morning i took that delicious loaf and made french toast to accompany watching an early morning NFL game taking place in London.
i guess you could say this morning has been a success.

Zucchini Bread French Toast
ingredients:
4 thick slices of zucchini bread
3 eggs
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
butter
confectioners sugar & maple syrup for serving
method:
in a pie plate, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, almond milk and vanilla. set aside.
melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. dip each slice of the zucchini bread into the egg mixture and place in hot pan. cook on each side until golden brown.
dust with confectioners sugar and top with maple syrup.
serves 4
