if i ever invite you over to my place, you can be guaranteed you'll find yourself between a bowl of tortilla chips and some fresh homemade salsa.
it's how i welcome my guests.
it's how i ensure mr. handsome doesn't get hungry waiting for dinner.
it's how we all remain happy.

on sunday for our BBQ, i went with a cherry tomato salsa, because let's face it cherry tomatoes are amazing and have been ridiculously good as of late. we buy them/eat them by the case load always reaching for fistfuls anytime we pass by the fridge.
which happens a lot. like a lot, a lot.

and now these little nuggets are going to be given a mexican wake up call and i couldn't be more excited.
cherry tomato salsa
ingredients:
1 pint cherry tomatoes; quartered
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, ribs removed and finely chopped
1/4 cup red onion, chopped fine
3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
juice of 1 lime
salt to taste
method:
combine all ingredients together in a small dish, mixing well to incorporate.
serve w/ tortilla chips
