white chocolate & mini egg popcorn

last night we hosted a slumber party at our house.  we did crafts, had a create-your-own pizza bar, watched movies and munched on some delicious easter inspired popcorn.  

white chocolate & mini egg popcorn.  a true indulgence & perfect for easter weekend. 

White Chocolate & Mini Egg Popcorn

ingredients:

2 (3.5 ounce) packages microwave popcorn

17 ounces white chocolate chips

1 tablespoon butter

sprinkles

1-2 cups mini eggs

method:

cook popcorn according to package directions (one at a time.). transfer popcorn to a large plastic bag, discard any unpopped kernels.

melt white chocolate with butter in a microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between until melted and smooth.

drizzle melted chocolate over popcorn.  close bag and shake until thoroughly coasted.  Turn out onto parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sprinkles and mini eggs.  let cool in fridge until hardened.  break into smaller pieces and enjoy!
