also, they make a great bribe option with kids, which i will no doubt need as i'm single parenting it while mr. handsome is away on business.

fruity cereal bars

ingredients:

6 cups fruit loop cereal

5 cups mini marshmallows

1/4 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

method:

in large saucepan over low heat, melt butter.  add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended.

remove from heat.

stir in vanilla.  add cereal, stirring until coated.

using a spatula spray with nonstick spray, press into 9-inch square pan spray with nonstick spray.  cool. cut into bars.
